Program:

„What do Wonder Woman, Thor and biobanking have in common?“ How to get these unique samples?
Roman Hrstka and Kateřina Nováková (BBMRI.cz, Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute, Brno, Czech Republic)

What do Wonder Woman, Thor and biobanking have in common? It seems like the beginning of a joke, but it’s not. The unavailability of clinical material as well as extra rare material from superheros is an obstacle faced by many researchers. They may not know about biobanks!
How to get to set of unique samples and data of excellent quality? What is biobank and BBMRI.cz (large research infrastructure)? Answers will be clear after seminar and it well be demonstrated online tools and “superpower” of biobanks practically. We can only remind you this wise sentence „Your research is only as good as good are your samples!”
