A seminar “3D printing methods and virtual reality in preoperative planning”

On Thursday, January 23, was held a seminar “3D printing methods and virtual reality in preoperative planning” organized by the Laboratory of Biomathematics and Bioimaging Facility of the Institute of Physiology. Its participants learned about the latest techniques in digital analysis of medical images, the possibilities of 3D printing for creating physical models of anatomical structures and the use of virtual reality for simulating surgical procedures. The interactive format of the event encouraged discussion, sharing of best practices and the search for new effective ways to improve clinical practice.. Interdisciplinary collaboration can then contribute to a more effective use of technology for the benefit of patients and promote the development of innovative approaches in medicine.
